August is a quiet month for most businesses. That’s exactly what makes it the right time to check your site.
Q4 traffic doesn’t give you room to fix broken forms, slow load times, or expired payment methods on your hosting account. It just finds those problems for you — usually at the worst possible moment.
Four checks worth doing this week:
1. Run a free performance scan at pulse.zu2b.com. Look at speed, mobile performance, and security signals. A single bloated image or unoptimized script caught now saves you from losing visitors during your busiest months.
2. Open your site in incognito mode on your phone and submit a test inquiry through your contact form. Did the confirmation email land? Did the page look right? If you can’t remember the last time you tested it, that’s your answer.
3. Check your Google Business Profile. Are your hours accurate going into fall? Are there any early-summer announcements still showing on your site’s header or announcement bar?
4. Log into your domain registrar and hosting portal. Confirm auto-renew is active, your payment details are current, and two-factor authentication is turned on. Losing a domain to an expired card is one of the most avoidable problems in business.
