It’s Domain Name Friday.
Two questions that come up constantly when people are building their first site:
1. Should you buy multiple domain extensions?
Short answer: buy the .com first. After that, it depends on how short and common your brand name is. If someone could plausibly register the .net version and benefit from your traffic, it’s worth the few dollars a year. If your name is long and distinctive, skip it – nobody’s competing with that.
2. What actually makes a domain name strong?
Not length. Not keywords. The real test: say it out loud.  Strong domains don’t need explaining, don’t use hyphens, and won’t sound dated in two years.
Your domain is the first pillar. Build it right.
