Your domain is the address. But what’s happening behind it?

Here are some areas worth a closer look: Legacy WordPress functions. Older functions may still be in the codebase, working but worth reviewing before future WordPress or plugin updates. AI-assisted code paths. Some generated code may contain redundant logic, unused parameters, and assumptions that deserve human review. Input handling and sanitization. Review form handlers and data-processing paths to make sure incoming data is being validated and sanitized appropriately. None of these areas are necessarily obvious on the front end. That’s exactly why a code audit is useful. If you’re running a WordPress site, start with the code behind the address people see: functions.php, custom JavaScript handlers, and the code responsible for form submissions and database queries. Your domain gets people to the door. A healthy codebase helps keep everything behind it running properly. When was the last time you reviewed your site’s underlying codebase or error logs? #DomainNameFriday #WebSecurity #WordPressDev #SiteMaintenance #CodeAudit #ZU2B #WebHosting #WPSecurity #CleanCode #SiteHealth
